MOT Tests
have this work carried out. If a car is left with
us to test we will not carry out any repairs until
we have authorisation from the customer.
If a vehicle fails the MOT test you are given 10
working days to effect repairs. Up to half the test
fee is chargable if repairs are not carried out
by the testing garage. The testing garage does not
have to carry out the repairs, it is your choice
where you have it repaired.
What is an MOT?
An MOT is a safety check for cars and light commercials,
maintaining an excellent standard of vehicles on
our roads which reduces accidents. The UK has excellent
safety records which is due to the MOT test carried
out annually.
We choose to always charge the full amount set by
VOSA for an MOT but we dont charge for a retest
if your car fails. Some garages offer amazing discounts.
It makes you wonder how they can make their living
honestly. We feel our way is the fairer way. |
